Gainesville, FL Senior Portraits | Madeline | Foxtale Photography

As we’re rolling out our call for our 2012 high school senior model call, we’d like to share with you our shoot with Gainesville teen Madeline. We photographed the recent Buchholz graduate at the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, a favorite of ours, and had the place to ourselves that afternoon after a midday wedding wound down.

For those of you applying to the 2012 Senior Model call, sign up on our Facebook page, time is running out! Thanks so far to all of our applicants, thanks so much and good luck to everyone!

A Saint Augustine Wedding | Foxtale Photography | Wedding Photographers

After working with Meaghan Mulligan of Enviously Green Wedding & Event Planning on our beach shoot the other week, we joined up to put together our first styled wedding. Over the past month, we collaborated with several wedding industry professionals to put together this beautiful photo shoot.

The beautiful house you’ll see throughout is the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum located on 20 Aviles Street in the downtown area. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to shoot at this beautiful historic coquina house that was built around 1798. The facility began renting out areas for weddings and events, so our timing was perfect. The beautiful courtyard, balconies, and the coquina walls add such character you don’t find in a lot of other venues. It really lends itself to great photo opportunities, I still have tons of shots that I saw that day that we weren’t able to get to!

A big part of a styled shoot is the table setting. With the help of Flower Works supplying the amazing centerpiece and Luli’s Cupcakes for their beautiful (and tasty) spread, our table really came together. Meaghan lead the styling and we assisted in creating the wedding favors, place cards, and all the little pieces to make the setting quite memorable.

The shoot would have been lacking if it wasn’t for our two models, Kaylee Ann Barker and James Broucek, who really shined with their hard work, talent, and ability to not sweat during this 96ºF shoot. Like any bride, Kaylee had a team of area professionals helping to create her amazing look for the special day. Hair by Renee Pendlay created the fabulous up-do while showing off the incredible hair “fascinator” by Destin-area Joanne Woskov of Facsinate Me, who also made the wedding veil. Local make-up artist, Jamie B, outdid herself with Kaylee’s look (and beyond that, her make-up held the entire shoot in our humid hot Florida summer weather).

Completing our bride was the amazing dress from Daniel Thompson Bridals, located over at 128 San Marco Avenue. To say it was stunning is not enough for her gown. She really dazzled everyone, including the passer-bys on the street screaming for our groom to kiss the bride. So when you see Kaylee blushing in some of the shots on the balcony – that was real. It would have been a shame to toss the bouquet that Flower Works created for the bride. The details in the stem wrapping is so cool – make sure to check out the detail in the photos. The groom’s boutonnière, also by Flower Works, pulled James’ outfit together.

After sixteen bottles of water and an afternoon and evening of photographing everything, we helped ourselves to Luli’s Cupcakes (What? They were going to go bad otherwise) and cooled off in the nice ocean breeze before heading back to Ocala. It is so great when everything comes together and being able to see the fruits of our labor through these pictures is award enough for everyone’s hard work. We really hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Stella’s Story Time | Central Florida Family & Kids Photographers

After our “Three Generation” session the other morning, Naoko and Stella-chan allowed us to capture some of those special moments that the two share at home. Stella has grown so much in the last few months. Her cheeks are chubbier, her face is full of expression, and she is so energetic! Nothing can make someone happier than a smiling baby and Stella is full of smiles. We wanted to catch these special moments that a mom shares with her child and we’re excited how it came out. We hope you like them, too. Make sure to click the Facebook tab on the left side of the page if you haven’t already and you can “Like” our page straight from there!

Kay - Beautiful as usual 🙂
